I am a 53 year old male seeking a community to live and work in. Preferrably South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee or Florida. I have never stayed in a Ecovillage or Intentional Community. The only monetary help I need is to pay my Verizon phone bill so I can stay in touch with my family in South Carolina.

We're near Tampa, a little N of Plant City. Presently more of a family farm than community but still interested in IC's. Do have a family visiting when school is out next month. We had a family plus one other person living here when we up dated our listing in the www.ic.org web site under ecofarmfl last year. The woman move back with her sister next door but still work with us. The other family is gone. Been think about deleting the listing and web site.
Anyhow, we're a diverse farm based on permaculture principles. 54 acres, an 8KW solar intertie system, grow veggies for farmers markets, and have a small herd of water buffalo for mainly milk, and a little of this and that. We're in our 60ties and raising grand kids. So have a lot going on and not sure where were going. Have infrastructure, knowledge, and no debt. Love to stay here but something has to change. There needs to be a few more hands here.
