I would like to start a rooftop herb farm in Brooklyn, NY.

Any ideas on how to find building owners that would let me start this business. What kind of building owners/businesses would be interested in this? Any direction or should I just call a lot of people?

What could be in it for them? How do I sell this? Any any ideas would be helpful.

Thanks!

I would say the kind of place that would be the most interested would be a restaurant. Offer to give them whatever they need to use for their restaurant and keep the rest. It would look great for the restaurant to say "made with fresh herbs grown right here!"  Just might be hard to find a restaurant with the right type of roof in Brooklyn.  I imagine most restaurants are ground level with apartments and whatnot above them but I'm not familiar with the area so I have no idea...

Other ideas would include small specialty grocery stores or alternative health type stores. Just be willing to grow a lot more than you need and possibly some stuff that you aren't interested in for your own personal use...

As if that wasn't enough, a dog then peed on the tiny ad.
