I am in the process of starting multiple businesses, with the long-term focus of healing our Eco-systems, the planet, and our communities as much as we can. I have acquired a piece of land and am working to build a Sanctuary, a nursery, farm, and bank of beauty and biodiversity. The possibilities and potential seem infinite!  I live in King and Pierce counties. I write poetry and songs, I love to dance and want to learn more, I love to learn and to read, I enjoy just about anything outdoors. I like to grow and nurture food and to cook. I am not a vegetarian, but I recognize my connection to the greater life cycle, and consciously work to harmonize more deeply. The majority of our population and culture seem largely unaware and uninterested in Permaculture, and I cannot connect on the deepest and truest levels with people who aren't consciously connected to our planet. I haven't felt I connected deeply with a partner in a long time. I am learning so much each day, life is definitely full of wonder. I am looking for more young people who share this passion, to work together and share our dreams and their manifestations. I'll be travelling all over the country this Spring and Summer on the motorcycle, so if you are along the West Coast or South West Coast, I might be passing by.

Just a piece of friendly advice:

I'm not sure posting a shirtless selfie showing your awesomely ripped abs is a way to go.  I've never, ever met a woman who said that worked with online dating, and in fact, most have said the exact opposite.  Then again, I tend to meet women who are fairly well educated and far less superficial than we men are... and thank God they are less superficial than we men.

The kind of woman who is looking for a guy who is looking for a guy to connect to on the "deepest and truest levels" with one who is "consciously connected to our planet" isn't going to care about your abs... although I'm sure she will appreciate them after she gets to know you.

Ditto for the picture of the motorcycle... not sure how a dirt bike, an item that often is used to tear around land and creates erosion issues , ties into the "healing of our ecosystem" mindset.

Lastly, I didn't think this was a dating site, but hey, I'm all for letting people connect, so have at it.

Then again, perhaps it's a generational thing, and I'm just the idiot I've always been.

There are well over a hundred forums on permies.com, and this one is the 'permaculture singles' section where shirtless selfies of ripped abs and pictures of motorcycles, goats, convergences, awesome homesteads, and the like are all welcome.

I hope you find what you're looking for Orion!

Forgive me.  I didn't see that this was a singles section.

That being said, I've done a ton of online dating in the past, and have never, ever, met a single woman who told me she liked the "shirtless pics" guys post on their ads.  In fact, I've heard the exact opposite.  But, like I said, it might be a generational thing.    Swipe left... or right... I don't know... lol

But yes, I hope Orion finds that which he seeks...

Hey Orion,

I met you in passing at the recent convergence. All the best on your journey and I hope you are able to find the connections you seek.

I hope good things come from but on the pic of abs.

Well, If I was to show mine, no one for sure would dare answer the call!

Best advice I can give is to "Be you and then you be free!"  Keep being you and meh on critiques.  Like assholes we all have one but some just are taken better care of.

I am well educated, but I guess I am a little bit superficial. I do appreciate a nice set if abs, although I am getting a good chuckle out of your pic, as it appears to me that you are sucking in your stomach. Lol.

A motorcycle is very different from a dirt bike. A motorcycle is a fuel efficient (and fun) form of highway transportation. A dirt bike is as Eddie says, a great way to create erosion.

Orion you sound great to me, but I doubt you would want to come by my way, as I live in Saskatchewan.

Oh and I am 23.

Leora Laforge,
Thanks. You are right. You do seem a bit far away, but we should stay in touch you never know what will happen. I am a little superficial too and would love to see a photo of you. And I guess you'll just have to see my abs in person to know the difference. Anyway, you can email me terrapatronus@outlook.com
