Golden Rocks
Permaculture Farm is proud to host our first Advanced
Cob Sculpting
Workshop, honoring the balance of form (feminine principle) and function (masculine principle). Join us as we explore, celebrate life, make new friends, and learn how to build a small structure fashioned from Sculpted Cob.
Imagine a world where all people are empowered not only to dream their homes into existence, but are actually able to independently create that vision. Imagine that your home can be harvested from nature and without toxic inputs!
We will be offering our Sculpted Cob House Advanced Course in this 4-day intensive workshop. Topics covered include integration of raw materials, repairing cracked cob walls, creation of arched doorways and arched doors, door installation, interior lofts, cob headers and columns, connecting roof to cob walls, interior ceiling designs, earthen floors, earthen plasters, earthen paints, natural sealants and more. Our
project is called “Grandma’s Shoe House.” YES it is shaped like a shoe! Ultimately the Shoe House will be a children’s play area and meditation space.
On deeply nurturing lands, Golden Rocks
Permaculture offers community, scenic views, gardens, rural camping, outdoor community kitchen and outdoor showers for student visitors. Workshops are inclusive of a loving mid-day meal from our organic gardens daily.
Coffee, tea and spring
water is provided as well.
