I think I gave you Canada Onions,
Allium canadense, a
native onion with a wide range in North America. The whole onion can be used, just like green onions/scallions. The top parts can be used like chives, or you can just use the white bottom part for bulb onions. If you cut the plant an inch or so above the bulb, it will grow back. If allowed to go to seed, the patch will rapidly spread. They also spread by division, I believe. In any case, each year we have many more of them!
