a new pest on the East Coast and moving west
as with any new invader they don't play well others
last fall they swarmed like the fake ladybugs did a few years ago
the warm weather has got them out already
a challenge for organic/permies

I found that my native green frogs enjoy eating them at will. I found that hand picking them everyday while I see them helps as well. They are more of a pain in the house than crop eating especially in a polyculture system, at least in my experience.

Actually, we have had them here in the West for years.  Still trying to find something that will live around here that will eat the darn things.
