I like to take my children on a hike once a year. I like to travel light. It makes me happy.

We spent two nights on the Outeniqua Hiking Trail this past weekend. Diepewalle Hut and Fisanthoek Hut.

The hike on the First Day was 16.5 km
The hike on the second day was 11.8 km.

My packing list:

Karimor Hiking Bag - Jaguar 4 100Litre
Merrel Hiking Boots
SADF style fire bucket
Methylated Spirits Burning Stove (tied together with boot lace)
Leatherman Sidekick
Leather pouch with paracord
50mm leather belt with brass buckle
100% cotton Cargo shorts
3 cotton T shirts
airline toothbrush
wide brim hat
Acrylic Polyester mix blanket
100% cotton towel

I made a little video talking about this. I thought you may like it.
