What was in “Resp-80”?

Several years ago, I got sick with the swine flu... it was a couple years after the bad nationwide outbreak, and it hit me so hard I also got pneumonia at the same time but went undiagnosed for a month and a half. (Thanks local doc) Once it finally was diagnosed, the things I was already doing were the same as they were going to prescribe for me. So the only other option he gave me was to go to the ER. I decided to ask a friend who knew quite a lot about herbs, and she told me about some different ones, recommending a product labeled “RESP-80”. It got rid of my pneumonia in 2 days, but I took it and the other herbs for a week and a half to make sure.

This product is no longer made, and I can’t find any other product that works as good as it did. I do not know who the maker was ether.

Could someone come up with ether the manufacturer or the ingredients list for RESP-80? I would be eternally grateful! Or if you know a product that is just as good I’d be interested in knowing more...

No, It had a ton of herbal ingredients in it... and looking around on amazon, i found another product that I think was offered by the same company, Solaray, so I have an email in to them asking if they had made it, and why they quit if they did. If i remember correctly, RESP-80 was short for Respiration-80 and it was supposed to have over 80 ingredients in it. I believe it had everything from Rosemary and fever-few, to licorice and a wide variety of Chinese herbs, as well as various spices like ginger and garlic. I do not think it included echenacia, goldenseal, or vitamin c or zinc, but cant be 100% sure.

When I needed it i would take it with those as well as Astragalus and olive leaf, use the Airborne tablets in a glass of water, and if needed sudafed and/or guaifenesin. I may also in between doses with a meal, make a tea of various spices and herbs that i let steep for about 20 min give or take. Altogether it made a very powerful cold and flue killer, as well as helping other things like a stomach bug on the rare occasion I get one. This latest flu I've had would've been gone long ago, because what I've been fighting the longest is the chest infection it set up.

Message for you sir! I think it is a tiny ad:
