Crap, you're right. It is a typo. I was typing really fast in the last few minutes to get the thank-yous up.
Thanks, Blendi, for the correction.

The correct link for Flemming Abrahamsson's wonderful work is: http://www.fornyetenergi.dk

Erica Wisner wrote:After Campaign Purchases:

Unlike many Kickstarter campaigns, our product will be released to the general public in just a few months.

The Builder's Guide comes out in June from New Society, and they offer wholesale/trades discounts to booksellers.
Permanent Publications will list their UK edition for release September 1, but it may be available earlier. I don't have a direct link yet, but here's their main website: http://permanentpublications.co.uk/

If you would love to pick up additional copies of our books directly from us, during our book tour in June, it would be helpful to get your thumbs-up on the straw poll just above.
Here is the link to those posts: http://www.permies.com/forums/posts/list/40/54505#460573

Our standard rewards are based on items listed at our online store (www.Scubbly.com/store/ErnieAndErica).
There will be named bundles to match some of the Kickstarter rewards through April, May, and June.
They won't be included with book purchases (that only works out in big promotions like the Kickstarter), but you can still buy items separately or bundles of items.

Our stretch goal bonus rewards don't exist yet.
We can't answer questions about selling them until we have created them.
However, we did commit to making the most popular one (according to a Permies vote April 12) perennially available as a gift to the Permies community.
According to our Stretch Goals straw poll, that most popular item would be the Permaculture Kitchens / Rocket Wood Cook Stoves topic, which I look forward to writing.

We're hoping to have all our stretch goal bonuses delivered in time for Christmas, and we might consider another Kickstarter in future once we've delivered everything from this one.
All our backers will be notified if we do that. If you didn't get a chance to back the Kickstarter and want early notice for any future ones we may run, please watch this thread, and "follow along" on the Kickstarter.

I come home this evening to find a media package on the porch. Wow.
Congratulations Ernie and Erica, the book looks beautiful.
I'm so glad I upped my pledge to include a physical copy of your book,
threre's no substitute for the real thing. I can't wait to dive into it and
you two should be very proud of this tangible manifestation of all of your
hard work.

Maybe I should go look where packages are sometimes delivered. I'm closer to the shipment place so mine should be here "any minute". I really am excited about it.

A thousand thanks E and E, and congratulations, too.

Yay! Great to hear that people are already enjoying the book.
For those who are still waiting - please don't worry, it's coming!

We are shipping a few cases at a time, so not all the books have shipped yet.
I'll post a note once all the books and extra items have shipped, and an estimated final delivery date for within the USA.
THEN you can worry, if you like! (or just ask us to check the tracking number for your package).

Yours,
Erica

OK, the bulk of the books should be shipping today.
I still have a few dozen with special notes, add-ons, international, or personal friends' books I wanted to write nice notes on, that will not be finished shipping for a few more days.

They're going out media-mail, so it may still be a few days to a week until delivery.

Yours,
Erica W

Hi Erica,

on the UK/EU option, do you happen to know when those books will be shipping?

I checked the Permanent Publications website, but they don't have a shipping date, only that the book was published in June 2016.

Looking forward to it

Thanks!

Yay!!! Got my book today! Perfect timing - was fixing to start ordering materials on Monday for my next build. Now I get to spend the weekend rethinking everything.

Hello Erica, hello Ernie.

As I am about to build a rocket mass heater for our house, to heat through our mild portuguese winters, I bought both your really amazing book (pdf) and rented your movie on vimeo to learn as much as I could.
Yet I still remain with a few questions. Would you be willing to answer these? And if yes, how and where would I address these?

All the best and thank you very much for all your efforts to spread the RMH idea and your research and experience.

Moritz

Please feel free to start a new thread in the rocket mass heater forum to ask any questions.

Anything worth doing well is worth doing poorly first. Just look at this tiny ad:
