Has anyone read, "Livestock Guardians: Using Dogs, Donkeys, and Llamas to Protect Your Herd," by Janet Vorwald Dohner? Here is a link to it: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/158017695X/rs12-20

Yes, our library has a copy and I've checked it out a couple of times.  It's got a lot of good information in it.

Another wonderful book on the subject is : Livestock Protection Dogs, Selection Care and Training by Orysia Dawydiak and David Sims.

We have LGDs and have used this book extensively.
