Permaculture inspired micro-farm (five acres) and learning center in W. Massachusetts seeks serious "successor(s)" for 5-8 year "transition plan". Beautiful, historic, hilltop garden with mature plantings of fruit, chestnuts, perennials, annuals, dairy goats, greenhouses, AND a large, commune-built, "ark" house needing significant, green retrofit. Great potential as learning center, institute, demonstration garden, etc...

I (Joshua) will field inquiries for the farmer through June 30.  This is a tremendous opportunity; I may pursue it myself.  Thanks, team!

Hello Josh, I am a 56 year old and recently retired from teaching so i have a modest income. I've been looking around the capital District(Albany) for either a piece of property or an opportunity so that i might homestead. Ive been studying permaculture now for about 3 years, although i have no real practical experience. However I do grow a beautiful and productive garden using permaculture techniques.  I'm great health and like to work hard. If you could, please send me more information including location and coordinates so that i might determine if this is an area that would meet my needs. Look forward to hearing from you.
Jenny
