this book teaches how to make buckskin. if that's something you're interested in, i would highly recommend finding a copy. of course finding somebody to teach you in person would be much better, but i'd say this book is the next best thing. it helped my partner and i make some pretty awesome buckskin http://www.amazon.com/Deerskins-Into-Buckskins-Materials-Gatherers/dp/0965867242/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1307857004&sr=8-1
ron hood's "woodmaster series" is pretty awesome. a little low budget in production but he really does a good job with actually teaching you how to do a variety of primitive skills.
I know Ron,he's a good guy, infact I will camping with him and some other folks this week
I was wondering if there was a website or a book that you would recommend which teaches primitive skills and crafts. I have this one book on bushcraft which got me really interested in the subject
There are dozens of them. I have found most to be pretty good. I studies First People lore as a youngster which kept me "hanging out" in the woods a lot "pretending" I was a native and it was a time before the Europeans arrived. It was a lot of fun and quite a learning experience.
