Any suggestions for parkinson's patients? Looking for anything to help in dealing with symptoms, etc.

A balanced diaet is what the herbalists recommend in Thailand.

Protein (whey)
Omega 3 fatty acids
Vitamins C (B - A - E also)

I learned also from a Monk, that plants and their fruits tell many things.

Cut a tomato and you see the 4 chambers of the heart - hence good for the heart
The shape of a Bean is tellig good for kidneys
A cut carrot shows you an eye

and a half Walnut looks like...- Boosts the brain which is also good against Parkinson

But the medicine is working since decades to find the stone of wisdom, so all of the above is called life style and this seems to be a key factor to avoid or at least reduce the risk of diseases...

Take a look into Fava beans, at this site. Lots of information there, several different ways to use fava. On that site, the easiest way to find information is to scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I do not have personal experience with using fava beans.

Also, some people of middle eastern decent are allergic to fava beans.

This year I have been learning about so many benefits of mushrooms.
And yes, mushrooms are good for the management of neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease.

Exercising the lungs is very important for people with Parkinson's, so I would also recommend breathing exercises.

No mater what the ailment, drinking water is always very important.
