My husband has been using feverfew for 12 years and in those years he has had two migraines.  Before he started using it, he would have one every couple of weeks.  We grow it, so for 3/4ths of the year he eats 2 to 3 leaves a day (an 1 or 2 flowers when in bloom) and in the winter he eats what I have dried.  You could make it into a tea, but it is bitter.  It took a couple of weeks of eating leaves every day to build it up in his system.  He still gets the occasional sinus headache and he uses meadowsweet for that.  Hope that helps. :^)
