What the heck is that, Nicole? Wow.

I like this one - reminds me of the Farside cartoon about the kid trying to get in the school for the gifted.

My husband found it at the hospital he works at. If I remember correctly, inside the closet is a "Swallow Chair," which they have people sit in to take some sort of med. Something like that. Anyway, so this is the closet for the Swallow Chair, or "Swallow Chair Closet," if you will. To get the key to the Swallow Chair Closet, one must get the key, which is at Rehab Services.

But, the person who made the sign clearly was struggling with how to convey that information on a small sign. I'm sure with correct capitalization and punctuation and appropriate line-spacing, the sign would make more sense...but without it, it really make no sense at all!

I'm still laughing about this one my husband and I spotted 9 years ago.

I don't want to know how you'll end up tasting it twice....

Here's one that a friend took for the Brussels sprouts sign at Pike Place Market in Seattle this week:

Now if I was labeling the vegetable just above the Brussels sprouts, my label would say, "Fibonacci Broccoli". I can *never* remember it's real name, but the math people in the crowd will get it. I grew some last year just for its looks!

We have a number of portable shelters for chickens and ducks and I really enjoyed making funny signs for them. We had the "Chick Magnet", "Cheep Wheels", and the first one we built was called, "Eggsperiment".
