They apparently don't include actual bees, just several different hive equipment, but you can choose deep or medium Langstroth or top-bar. I am putting them up, assuming I will get a swarm this summer or spring.
It would be better if they would give a tax credit in the same amount they are spending but I guess this is easier to police.

This looks like an incredible offer! I wish I lived in Virginia or that my state would do something similar. The world needs more pollinators so anyone out there (well, in Virginia anyway) who has ever entertained the idea of keeping beesshould look into this for sure!
I was so excited by the possibilities for bee grants that I decided to go to look for something similar in my state.
