Tumeric remedy for multiple symptoms

Hello ,

I was wondering if you could tell me where and how in this forum that I could post my turmeric remedy.

I have accidentally found and then further refined something quite extraordinary.  I very much wanted to pass down this finding to members of my family, but they "don't believe in such things."  I wish to share this information with others because it is too good to just allow it to be lost. Although the list keeps on growing, my remedy has helped with anxiety, carpal tunnel, constipation, fibroids, inflammation, insomnia, general pain, sciatica, arthritis, and sinus issues.

Also, please bear with me as this is the first forum I have ever joined and my recipes and instructions are a bit different than most peoples.

Good day and thank you.

That's got a lot of good stuff in it.  Do we have any theories on why or how it works to relieve pain, exactly?

TO DAN BOONE,

IT'S KIND OF STRANGE THE WAY THIS PARTICULAR ONE FELL TOGETHER - I WAS HAVING SEVERE SCIATIC PAIN WHEN I INVENTED THIS MIXTURE, AND AT THE SAME TIME FOLLOWING WEIRD HUNCHES - BUT LET ME TELL YOU WHAT I DO KNOW ABOUT THESE INGREDIENTS FROM ACTUAL EXPERIMENTAL EXPERIENCE.

1.  TURMERIC - INFLAMMATION, TUMOR SHRINKAGE, PH CORRECTOR, CANCER PREVENTIVE, ETC.
2.  CAYENNE   - PAIN, COLDNESS, RESPIRATORY, SINUS, VITAMIN C, BLOODFLOW, MOOD ELEVATOR
3.  BLACK PEPPER - CARRIER, ACTIVATOR FOR PROPERTIES IN OTHER FOODS AND HERBS
4.  GINKGO - BRAIN AND CELL OXYGENATION - BETTER BLOOD FLOW
5.  GOTU KOLA - GINKGO ENHANCEMENT AND MILD TRANQUILIZER
6.  CINNAMON  -  BLOOD WARMER AND MOOD ENHANCER - ALSO HELPS FIGHT OFF SUGAR URGES AND DEPRESSION
7.  COCONUT MILK POWDER - HAS FAT IN IT, WHICH HELPS CARRY THE OTHER POWDERS THROUGH THE BODY BETTER - ALSO HAS SOME OTHER HEALTH BENEFITS THAT I CANT THINK OF RIGHT NOW
8.  BLACK CUMIN SEEDS - HAVE BEEN KNOWN AS A CURE ALL FOR AGES - I KNOW THEY ARE VERY HIGH IN NUTRIENTS AND HAVE ANTIBACTERIAL PROPERTIES BUT I NEED TO STUDY THIS ONE FURTHER - IT SEEMS TO HAVE A STRANGE "CLEANING" TYPE OF ABILITY.

WHEN I INVENTED THIS ABOUT 5 OR SO YEARS AGO I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW IT RIVALED THE PILLS I WAS TAKING FOR PAIN - LATER ON I FOUND OUT THAT THIS VERY STRANGE RECIPE HAD MULTIPLE BENEFITS AND I WANT EVERYBODY TO KNOW ABOUT IT SO IT'S RELIEF CAN BE AVAILABLE TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO NEEDS IT.

For what it is worth, I used turmeric for 2-3 years to ease the symptoms of my multiple sclerosis. It really is a strong anti inflammatory, and since Multiple Sclerosis is caused by the body attacking itself the turmeric really did help.

Alas, after a bit it started to irritate my insides, and so I reluctantly quit using it.

An Indian mate of mine gives his kids a traditional lassi (drink) of milk, yoghurt and turmeric as a general everyday preventative medicine and relaxant.

The ingredients provided above could be simply used to make a healthy vegetable curry = in Ayurveda medicine, like many Asian cultures, traditional food and it's ingredients are considered a medicine.

DEAR TERRI MATTHEWS,

ARE YOU POSITIVE THAT IT WAS THE TURMERIC THAT IRRITATED YOU AND NOT SOMETHING ELSE? BECAUSE TURMERIC IS REPUTED TO SOOTH THE LINING OF THE STOMACH - IT MAY BE WORTH REVISITING.

DEAR F AGRICOLA

YOU ARE CORRECT - MANY OF THESE INGREDIENTS CAN BE USED FOR A CURRY - HOWEVER, IF YOU USED THE PAIN REMEDY INGREDIENTS AS A CURRY, IT WILL RELAX YOU TO THE POINT WHERE YOU MAY GET SLEEPY AND POSSIBLY SHOULD NOT DRIVE - IT WORKS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY ON DIFFERENT PEOPLE. I ALSO DON'T THINK IT WOULD TASTE AS GOOD WITH FOOD AS IT DOES IN A HOT DRINK.

I HAVE A MORE STIMULATING (NOT TO MENTION ENERGIZING) ONE FOR FOOD - HERE GOES:

DEBZ FIVE MEDICINE CHICKEN (OR OTHER MEAT?)

BLACK CUMIN SEED
GARLIC
CURRY
TURMERIC
CAYENNE AND OR CHILI POWDER

TOAST THE ABOVE POWDERS IN A PAN UNTIL THE SMELL APPEALS TO YOU, THEN ADD OIL OR FAT OF YOUR CHOICE AND SAUTE FOR A MINUTE OR TWO UNTIL A PASTE FORMS - THEN ADD IN YOUR MEATS AND PRE-STIR FRIED OR ROASTED VEGGIES OF YOUR OWN LIKING (THIS PASTE GOES WITH ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING) AND ENOUGH WATER TO ALMOST COVER. COOK LOW FLAME TO DESIRED DONENESS AND VOILA - YOU'VE GOT YOURSELF A SUPER HIGH ENERGY DINNER.  SERVE ON TOP OF FLUFFY QUINOA OR KASHA FOR ADDED ENERGY BOOST.

OKAY F AGRICOLA - YOUR TURN - DO YOU HAVE A TURMERIC REMEDY OR RECIPE FOR ME AND OTHERS IN THE AUDIENCE? LET'S KEEP IT GOING --- TURMERIC IS A GREAT THING.

Yes, it was the turmeric.

What is more, it was my Father who first suggested it, and after a while he could not tolerate it either.

It might be a hereditary thing: neither one of us get a "high" if we drink either. I just get sleepy and he can be sick for 3 days. That is not the norm, I know, but it is what happens with us.

DEAR TERRI MATTHEWS,

I AM SORRY YOU CANNOT USE THE TURMERIC - BUT - YOU CAN GET A POUND OF GINKGO LEAVES FOR $7.80 AT SAN FRANCISCO HERB CO - HERE IS THE LINK:
http://www.sfherb.com/search.asp?keyword=GINKGO&search=

IT HAS BEEN REPUTED TO HELP WITH THE FATIGUE ASSOCIATED WITH MS - BUT IT'S ALWAYS BEST TO GET YOUR OWN HERBS BY THE BAG AND PUT IN FOOD OR DRINK - SINCE PILLS CAN HAVE LOTS OF ADDITIVES WITH VERY LITTLE (AND OVERLY PULVERIZED) ACTUAL HERBAL CONTENT.

IF I CAN FIND MORE INFO - I WILL GET BACK TO YOU.

That's a very big dog. I think I want to go home now and hug this tiny ad:
