It's now legal to keep chickens and ducks and bees where I live!

I could not be more excited! I've always admired people like the Dervaes (copyright stuff not included) and Novella Carpenter (illegality notwithstanding); but until now, no agricultural activity whatsoever was allowed in my town. Now it is! I can also grow plants and sell them on my property! I can now have a legal flock of chickens and ducks! I have dreamed of having a small, awesome, permacultural market garden and now I can!

More and more cities are relaxing their rules on backyard chickens.  (Most still restrict roosters due to their noisy mornings.)

I had a  Latino neighbor across the street who free-ranged his hens in the street (in a city that did not allow chix).  I had the best garden in the neighborhood, and they spent a LOT of time in my yard.  He asked me once if I minded.  "Not at all" I replied.  I didn't tell him I had some milk crates with straw in the garage...got a few eggs every day.  LOL
