I'm currently still figuring out how I am going to get from where I am to where I want to be work-wise (ideally, I want to establish and run multiple permaculture projects).

But in the meantime, with "regular" jobs I seem to be getting hired for computer-related things most often. Two summer ago, I was doign 3D modelling in Blender for a professor to help explain his research to the public and his colleagues. This summer I was doing computer programming in IDL. Last Spring, I took a Photoshop course, and now, I am playing around in Gimp and Inkscape just for fun, because I like the way that art can express ideas and concepts. Currently, I am doing tech support at my college as my paid job.

So, I am thinking if anyone is doing permaculture or environmental work and is looking for someone to help out with graphics, I would be happy to help out as a volunteer basis or possibly hired basis (if you like and appreciate my work that much). We can figure something out.

If you'd like to see some of my previous work in Blender or Photoshop, please Purple Mooseage me, and I'd be happy to show you some of what i can do.

EDIT: I'm just going to post some of my Photoshop works and recent Inkscape work to this post. The only thing I have to share privately via email are the Blender 3D models, because that was work I did for a professor, which may not necessarily be mine to share with the public.

Can you provide it in this pdf vector format as stated below? If so i have a small project.

AI / PDF Vector files are preferable but we can help converting JPG or any image files format.

Hi Wayne! Yes, I can provide it in pdf vector formats, if that is what you are after. I cannot provide it in AI formats, because Photoshop is a bit much for me to pay for to use, which is why, as S Bengi has noticed, I am currently using a lot of open source software right now.

I'll make my email available via my permies profile, because I just realized Purple Mooseages don't allow attachments.

Heres a ruff draft. Think of an ace of spades. The spade is solid black.

Will need another that says  RANCH the length needs to equal to the total width of the logo. Id like a country style script for all letters and all caps on them.

Ill get back with the size requirement. Its small

I want to burn that logo into belt, knife sheath, gun holster  etc.

It may take some back and forth tweaking to get it right. We can do it here or email. Makes no difference to me.

Size of design up to 10 cm square in area. e.g. 5cm (W) x 2 cm (H) or 3cm (W) x 3cm (H).

Above is from vendor. 2" is a good height, the width being equivalent ratio to a playing card. If that fits the above parameters.....

Where and how would you like Ranch to be written on the card?

I got that you would like Ranch to be in all CAPS. I could spell RANCH on the diagonals (top left to bottom right, top right to bottom left, any other diagonals). It could be done straight across top or bottom. Down the sides. Up the sides.

What sounds good to you?

Its gonna be a separate stamp, so a separate file.
I can burn it under the logo or to right of logo depending on size of leather.

So just RANCH spelled out. Total width should be same width as logo or slightly longer. Same font as W and D

Did mooseage come thru? It didnt seem to go through from my end.

I haven't received your Purple Mooseage yet, Wayne. I'll post up a first draft of your logo with ranch sometime soon, and then, we can adjust it until it looks right to you.

Hi Wayne! Here's the first draft of the RANCH logo. If there is anything you want corrected with the fonts, please say so, because they are not actually fonts. I used a proper font as the guidelines, and I drew over them with Bezier curves. So, I can adjust the legs and angles of anything in the lettering if you think something looks off. The letters are just lines, which I can edit by moving the nodes around.

These are the smaller versions of the logos, as requested. I forgot to change that setting for outputs, so that's been fixed now.

I was feeling a bit down and worried about the future, and a little scared, too, so I made a little graphic to cheer myself up a bit.
