We are starting an organic farm on 2.5 acres (already purchased) here in central Oklahoma.

My wife and I have two toddlers and my wife's friend lives with us. I work full time, my wife works part time and my wife's friend works full time.

We are in the beginning stages of setting up a farm, but we need help. I am looking for a person/couple/family that would want to exchange work on the land for a shelter (with heat/AC), , water and all basic needs. These people will also get a cut of the profits once the farm starts bringing in revenue. We are renovating the garage right now so you will have your own separate area to sleep/hang out.

We are very secure financially, so we will be able to help you out in a financial jam if needed (like a medical emergency, for example).

We will be buying more land in the future and setting up cottages for volunteers/interns as well.

Experience in farming (preferably permaculture) is a plus, but we are willing to work with anybody if they are a good fit.

If you are interested, PM me or email me at mattbfrederick@gmail.com with a mini-resume and description of yourself. You can also request more information, pictures, documents and I will be happy to oblige.

Thanks!

You may want to post something on attra.ncat.org ... they have a sustainable farm internship/ apprenticeship job board for exactly what you describe.

Hi my name is Alexandra Budz,

I am a recent graduate of Saint Anselm College in Manchester, NH. I have always loved gardening , and my family tries to use organic produce, meats, etc. and I have become very interest, in doing more. I don't not really have a great deal of experience with permacullture farming, but have done a great deal of research and I would love to learn more.

If you have any opportunities please let me know,

Thank you in advance for your time

My GF and I live on 3.5 acres in SW Idaho and are building a farming community as well. We have room for one or maybe two (especially a couple) folks who want to work for room and board and a cut of the veggies/poultry sales. We have HUMOUNGOUS plans for the place, but little help and little finances, bot strapping our way to self sufficiency. The Facebook page is>>>https://www.facebook.com/WonLoveFarm?ref=ts&fref=ts my email is wonlovefarm@gmail.com . Hit me up and let's see if we fit your image of the future.

family of 4 from arkansas seeking living arrangements for trade of work.
WE have been so interested in learning farming and horticulteral work. WE are excited
about the oppertunity and need it badly. We are hardworking and very loyal people.
We have two young children . We are able to live in small living accomadations. Camper,
small trailer, even a one bedroom home would still be suitable for our family.
ANyways. we are willing to relocate and are able to do so at this time.
We are on the verge of being homeless due to job lay offs and need the help. If we can offere
our services to you please let us. We need work and a home.
thanks so much in advance Summers Family
