Hi Paul,

Good article, and I much  appreciate it.  But I am confused.  You  begin by saying to cut the grass as LONG as possible, 3-4 inches.  You then recommend a lawn mower that goes as high as 3 inches, but  you say that is as high as they go.  So  how does one cut it 4 inches?

Some gas mowers cut as high as 4 inches. 

The mower I recommeded was the only manaul mower that I could find that would cut as high as 3 inches.
