Hello fellow Permies,

I'm anticipating a move to Austin in early September and I am looking for a 3 to 6 month internship, apprenticeship, or a workshare relationship with a farm. I currently work on a raw milk farm in Massachusetts and will have my Permaculture Design Certificate in August. I will have a place to live in Austin, but if the farm is further outside of the city I would be interested in staying on-farm (at least for most of a work-week) and going in to the city on my 'off' time. If anyone knows of any interested farms or projects interested in striking up a working relationship get at me! (I also have management skills, retail and customer service experience, can lift heavy stuff and I'm not afraid to get dirty)

Hi Michael (and an extended hello to your partner Jessica),

It seems to be pretty hard finding like-minded people in and around the Boston area. I live near Framingham and there are very few (if any) outlets for thoughts and discussion. I'm also in my mid 20's, and going to school full time. I've been trying to find a good PDC design course to take this summer...just need to make a decision. In any case, I hope all is well with you. I was just in Waltham the other day shopping at a couple of different Indian markets, and I stumbled across a really, really tasty sushi restaurant.
