I just found out that some companies have sponsored the free viewing of Genetic Roulette to continue until October 31st! Anyone who hasn't had time to watch it can still catch it before the free viewing is over. Just my opinion, but I think this is one of the most important documentaries anyone who eats should watch.

You didn't specify an illness, but in my experience with my illnesses (mostly skin disorders like eczema, psoriasis) pills, creams, prescriptions never did a damn thing for me. They did all get better and some even went away entirely when I finally committed to changing my lifestyle. I stopped using ALL chemicals, from deodorant to shampoo. I started eating real food. I go outside and get real exercise in fresh air. I go barefoot as often as I can to ground myself to the earth's magnetic field. Most importantly, I think positive because mind and body are in fact connected. Whatever your illness is I hope you find relief.

I had never heard of a juicer steamer...but now I want one! So far we have half a freezer full of blackberries and some jars of brandy brewing. Still lots of ripe berries around us so we are still gathering, I have yet to make cobbler but the weather is finally cool enough to want to make more use of the oven. What if a dog will not stop eating poop? From her own, to that of all the other dogs she lives with, my parents little Shitzu mix will NOT STOP eating poop. They have tried all the tricks, even stuff the vet said to do like putting meat tenderizer in their food, hot sauce on the piles of poop, pick it up as fast as it is dropped, etc. I told them I think it is a nutritional problem and she knows she isn't getting something she needs, but I am no expert so my advice was ignored. Have you ever seen this issue before? Can it be solved with better food? They feed all their dogs a typical cheap dry dog food from a grocery store, pretty sure it is predigree. Your little Kira is super cute! and totally healthy, her skin and hair look better than mine do, jealous!

I heard you can be cremated and scattered in the reefs when you die, which apparently is very good for helping them regrow. Dunno if there is any truth in it, but someone told me that is their wishes for when they die.

We also planted a lot of root crops for fall, to give the big beast greenhouse here a chance to redeem itself for getting too hot in summer and being pest infested. Planted by the moon too this time, all of it, it's going to work! /cross fingers

I've read that most tough people, including gun carrying gang bangers, are scared to death of animals like goats. Probably because people fear what they do not understand, and most people don't know that goats basically won't hurt you. So get lots of goats, and a few mean roosters, use real name at will and laugh your ass off at any internet predator who shows up to try and harm you. If a person really doesn't want people finding them on the internet just delete your facebook, it's the real place to fear.

Yanno, a fisherman once told me sarcastically "they call it FISHING not CATCHING!" ...I see a video of people fishing, you did not lose.
