Hi Sam, Sorry it took me so long to reply... I couldn't work out how to post a reply! Now I know and its not took difficult! Yes in Glasgow there are environmental projects popping up all over the place. I work in communities, and try to get as many secondary schoolkids outside to get into gardening and learning about their roots, literally! I haven't heard of four particular one but I know that housing associations are keen to get their residents involved too. I am going to training soon to learn about developing abandoned spaces, im looking forward to that. Thanks for your reply!

I have been following this blog for a while. It has such fantastic advice and resources. I have recently become vegan ( not a kick off 60 years) and have a daughter Corrie who I really want to get involved with this.. She is a brilliant gardener and wants her own piece of land to start a business. This is where the Permaculture Design book comes in. I would love to surprise her with it! She will be designing my swamp of a front garden and we have some ambitious ideas. Please keep me updated. I am now hooked on buying a skillet (they don't exist in this country) and am right into environmental causes. ( A CAFO in England, must be stopped). Thanks for all your info...
