Yes this is a video of our garden harvests from this year. I am located in Kentucky, and have 10 Hugelkultur mounds-- that I dug and carried the logs, sticks, brush myself from the woods. I think most of the wood is oak. My process was digging ditches, then adding large logs as the bottom layer, then sticks, brush, leaves, compost, dirt, mulch.
We also do not have chickens. There are rabbits that live in the woods behind the house, and they come in and leave nitrogen rich droppings all over the garden, and the birds do too.
