What about 90's in the exhaust to get to the exterior- how does that effect the flow? I have a 4" system and am planning to use 4" stove pipe. I can either elevate my stove to the height of the window I will be mounting it next to (not my favorite idea) or throw two 90's between the stove and wall thimble with a third outside the thimble.

Just built my first stove. Couldn't get it to draft properly with a vertical feed tube so I capped it at the base and have gone horizontal for now.

Now I'm onto the exhaust. What is the consensus on a direct line from the exhaust port to the outside stove pipe? My other option is a 90° and a short rise before a second 90° to a wall thimble and THEN to the outside stove pipe.

I need to get this installed this week- input is desperately needed
