The Fokin hoe looks like half of a Hazel or Stirrup hoe.  Unfortunately the video was too fast to follow on my phone so I'll assume they are somewhat similar in usage.  I'm wondering though if it can be used to get rid of heavy clump grass which is a problem around here.

I'm looking for ways to turn my sisters backyard into an edible landscape that does not need a lot of maintenance as she has arthritis and other problems that limit her activities.
Also are there any good books on edible landscaping that is geared for seniors?  Might be something that the senior services could put in their newsletter.

I do have some tools from yard sales and an ax head I found with my metal detector that are going to need more extensive restoration work, so I need some pointers on how to proceed since I've never gone that far yet.

Not yet as I've never done it before. Some suggest using vinegar, or diesel. I heard that there are some restoration products that reverse the rust back to the iron or something. Not sure if it is true. Mostly I just clean and oil the tools that are easy to work on.
