I don't take my grains, salt, sugar out of their paper storage bags when I store them in the 2 or 5 gallon food grade buckets with gamma lids. Is there still a problem since the food doesn't actually touch the container? I also us the FIFO method and only store what we eat. Makes sense to me!

Eureka Montana Fiber Fest every year first weekend in August. Just for everyone information. It's  not all natural but it's  a resourse for ye all.

I am a lazy composter! I throw kitchen and garden scraps in my bin all year long. I just fill it up over and over and let it sit, It gets watered when I water the garden or it rains or snows. I don't turn it. In the spring I sift the smaller stuff out and put back the big stuff and start collecting again. I usually get a wagon full enough to cover 2 of my raised 12x3' beds about 1" deep. It may not be the best way to make compost, but that is an alternative for people like me...                       I have not sifted it yet as the bottom couple of inches is still frozen.

I really enjoyed looking at all the beautiful rock creations everyone has made. Thanks for sharing! Here are a couple of my meager efforts at using my stones. I'm still working on using them all up.

I love what you all are doing. I have been making these rugs with scraps from quilting.

Jelly, I give jelly any kind made with any fruit I can get my hands on free. I give it as hostess gifts, birthdays, welcome, whenever a gift is needed.

I received one as a gift. Used it a couple of times. I didn't see much time saved in it's use and I didn't care for the taste of the food. Had to put the chicken under the broiler to brown it. Rice took just as long as on the stove by the time it cooled down. Not a fan.
