We have 20 acres outside if Bellingham WA and a quasi community living in converted school buses/ tiny homes. We have two dwellings, partially furnished opening up in September $600/ month and work trade available.

On-site there are two medicinal herb farms, two year old food forest, vegetable gardens, small livestock, hoop house and passive solar dehydrator and room for more plantings and projects following permaculture and agroforestry methods. We are off grid but not currently using sustainable/ renewable energy, currently there is a gas generator that powers batteries, runs the well pump, and is used for power tools. There is a desire to change to a better system, solar and wind, perhaps you have experience with those systems?

We are looking for people who are self sufficient, handy, and hearty. Good communicators, passionate about permaculture and enjoy living simple. Couples and families welcome. Ideally you have had experience in shared living situations, practice permaculture and have some sort of skill that benefits the community and property. you must be open and accepting if all walks of life and hold no bias or judgements to others based on differences. And you are a positive person(s) who is/ are improving your life and the lives around you. This place would not work for people whom are dependent on convince life styles or need wifi/ and consistent electricity, aren't comfortable pooping in buckets and can't handle the weather. Or if you have substance abuse problems.

Property owner does not live on site but plays an active part in community. By community I mean group of autonomous hermits who live on the same land and share similar goals and ideals, who respect each other's boundaries, belongings and space, and coming together only when we are feeling social. Generally over a shared meal or common project.
A truck is a plus
Dogs are a case by case basis, they need to get along with our dogs, children and not be chicken killers.

Projects on property:
Out door bath and shower with gray water system
Tiny home on trailer
Community covered work space
Community outdoor kitchen
Installing solar and wind energy systems
Continuing and maintaining food forest
General maintenance on dwellings
Clay oven
Root cellar
Maintaining and cleaning air b&b and welcoming guests
Your projects....

Howdy Folks! We are a family of three with two dogs, who are working hard to get out of this rat race thingy and are converting our school bus into our home, and would love to park it on some great land that needs some permaculture love.
I Reisha work in the Snoqualmie Valley managing a organic farm and Bryan works in Mill Creek for a permaculturally based landscape company. Needless to say we have some skills and jobs. So we are able to do a cash payment or work trade. Our son is 3 and awesome and we have two middle aged dogs on the larger size.
We would like to live in south Snohomish or north King county area so we can be close to work, but are open to other options if it's the right fit since we have dreams to live with in a permaculture community far from a large city...
We are open to a community based situations, work trade and traditionalish tenant/renter options as well.
Thanks for Reading!

there are high amounts of trace minerals in diotomacious earth. it also contains alot of silica. consuming diotomacious earth should be moderated and consumed by people who can, do , and will drink plenty of water unless you want to be constipated. there area a few brands of diotomacious earth that can be consumed.
first i make sure the diotomacious earth i consume is 100% diotomacious earth, some brands add filler. 100% diotomacious earth is white. there are others that look like dirt. there is a brand out there which features bentonite clay in there diotomacious earth its by a company called red lake. i like it because the bentonite is a good detox and intestinal cleanser. there are many very good features about consuming diotomacious earth.
it adds trace minerals not found in foods
it is high in silica which is good for alot of things in your body such as bones
and it also will rid any parasites in your intestinal tract
i did lots of research on internaly consuming diotomacious earth before incorporating it into my diet as should any one.
this might "remineralize your teeth"

I just wanted to add my two cents...mushrooms are only as healthy as the the substrate on which they grow on...cardboard being of low nutritional quality and watch out for white cardboard for it contains dioxins... and i know some people to us their parabolic solar cooker to sterilize substrates, not sure exactly how but worth exploring.
Also I have successful used coffee grounds from coffee shops with out pasteurizing them myself, they pretty much get pasteurized when they brew the coffee.

Greetings!

We are a family of 3 and 2 dogs, with a back ground in Permaculture and organic farming, whom are seeking a home and garden for long term rental. We are both fully employed, have good credit, are non drug users, non smoking, capable, clean and quite. We have an interest in healing ourselves and the Earth.

We are in search of a home we can LIVE in for the next few years to enable us to save for our future mean while continuing to practice a sustainable and ecologically conscious lifestyle. Something simple and clean with a large yard for an abundant garden and space for us and our dogs to play.

South Snohomish County and East King County and preferably rural is ideal for a short commute to work. Open to other areas if its the right fit. It is important to us to have open and clear communication with the home owner(s) as well as fostering a relationship that is based on mutual respect that benefits us all.

We would like to create and maintain a garden for home use and possibly more if space is sufficient. We practice only organic no till gardening/farming methods with an epthsis on perennial crops, implementing Permaculture and Agroforestry design and techniques. It would be ideal to incorporate poultry and other small live sock in to the mix.

Our dogs are great, friendly with humans, children, and other animals.

We are open to shared common space if its the right fit, as well as work trades, care taking, barters for produce and or Permaculture design and installation. Or just good old monetary exchange for rent and land access. $600-$800 is ideal no more than $1000.
Lets talk!
Thanks for reading, have a great day!
