Hey Everyone,
I'm looking for some young Red Alder seedlings that I can use as a coppiced understory in my orchard. I know these grow like weeds, so I'm wondering if anyone in Maine knows of an area where I could get some small plants? Some roadside area or bank by a river?
It sounds like they're hard to start from seed so I'd rather just find some young trees and transplant.
