I am in charge of establishing a community garden at Saints Marks Center for Community Renewal in Keansburg NJ, Monmouth County, at the jersey shore region. As we are on a low budget and in need of assistance i figured i would post here for a shout out. We are in need of some plants, especially perennials. And for some much needed assistance. Where in NJ are you?  I'm in Western NJ.  I have a few seedling plants/trees you can get started with.  You would probably have to pick those up as most are starting to leaf out.  I also have some various other tree seeds: Cherry, Apple, seaberry, black locust, sumac, etc.

I am currently looking for an educational experience. I have found the need to finally amerce myself in all thing permaculture. I am currently living in New Jersey. The more and more i learn about permaculture principle and design the more restrictive everyday life seems. I am looking for a community where i can feel a sense of direction and moving forward in existence. I would love to establish a network of friends in which i can relate through positive action. Please PM me or comment with advice.

I am establishing a self sustained property/retreat/education center where people can feel at home with mother nature on the east coast. Using permaculture design and natural building methods. The ideal property I am looking for would be between 10-20 acres featuring a sloping topography for water harvesting systems. Initially, establishing a perennial system along with annual vegetables. Additionally, establishing a food forest using herbaceous and nitrogen fixing perennials. Pioneer and nitrogen fixing species including shrubs, small to medium and large sized trees, and food producing trees. I am trying to establish a network of friends who I can learn from and share our experience. I am looking for all the suggestions/pointers/advice and help that I can get. I am reading to put this into forward motion.

I am looking for a hands on learning experience where i can apply practice and principle in permaculture design. I am 22 years old currently living in new jersey, i would like to learn and educate myself through experience as much as possible. I am trying to build a network of friends who i can learn from as well as share my experiences. I have some gardening experience. I am open to all suggestions and i am looking forward to establishing a future in permaculture design.

Me and my family want to start a food forest on a small to medium sized acreage in Maryland. We are currently living in NJ. I want to start to try and establish some trees and shrubs from seed. I am looking for handouts as far as pioneer species, nitrogen fixing species, and food producing species if possible. I am willing to share my experiences with anyone willing to donate. Seeds/Seedlings/Cuttings VIA sase/postage or pickup would be greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to establishing my own roots into the world of permaculture. Any help would be really appreciated.
