There is only one thing to do with these kinds of people and that is to somehow help them to see what they are doing. Most people feel justified in their actions even bad actions because they have good intentions in their minds. In order for you and them to become better people and gardeners for your community you must figure out how to:

there are always ways to change a situation, it is just a matter of finding what hits the soft spot, be kind and go above and beyond and find out what it is, everyone in that garden will be happier for your work and effort.

I agree, I think more water but be careful Fuzzy's can not handle their roots staying wet when young, they are very susceptible to root rot. This has been the biggest challenge for me with growing the fuzzy keeping them watered well and yet planted in a well drained spot. I should go water mine right now:)

I love my power sanders and have many different kinds ranging in size from large belt sanders to small drill sanders but there are still jobs that a draw knife can outperform them. Even in production work there are times that a draw knife is faster than a sander. I would start a child out on a draw knife before many powers sanders. Keep in mind power sanders are not without risk either, I have had my fear shear of injuries while sanding. A draw knife would be one of the first tools I would buy and I have spent many happy hours using one.

I am convinced that most of the E. coli problems in cows milk comes from feeding them too much grain, in particular Corn. Just another bad side affect of subsidizing, like corn syrup in humans. God made cows to eat grass and small amounts of grain heads that grow on the grass not a bunch of Corn.

I may be missing something in your post but I have had homemade yogurt all my life and have never seen it turn pink. I would be interested to know what kind it is?
