The safest way is just avoid manure, grow your own 'crops' for composting.  I have converted to vegetarian in most things, but I do eat things with feathers, eggs, milk, and cheese.  I am working towards getting the chickens to help with the compost,  hope to try growing forage crops and grasses in garden paths for compost material

Indeed, oh well, I have seen the same books and quantity of books at the same price for over for 6 months or longer.  Maybe I will run into a copy one day for 30 or so dollars.

Thanks

A bite of independence...

I bought my origional for 20 dollars and in a recent move it was damaged, now prices range from 90 to 160 dollars.

I think one site offered it as a textbook to a class,  that would explain a lot.

They are nice 'systems ' , and not too bad on price.  But are pretty inflexiable., like where is the insulstion?

I understand wanting an easy systems,  I too alone and do not have help.

So I have been thinking. A small building 12 foot wide,  shed roof, length to suit or add more later.

Rule of thumb,  these kits are 3 times  the cost of materials.,
The same square footage  can be built conveniently  at a fraction

Hi, I do not have a direct answer.,but with small structures insulation  needs a different perspective.  Any insulation in any cavity is not as good as even less insulation applied in a continuous  fashion,  so rigid insulation on the outside of walls,  and ceiling.   For the floor, go wood sub floor, rigid insulation,  1/2 inch plywoos.

This will provide a nice envelope so to speak,  foil bubble insulation in cavities with air space works well here.

Now turn attention  to orientation.   Take care to install all doors, windows, with good seals and well calked.

Just my opinion, but after a lot of investigation in to tiny homes on wheels I realized they are usually a recreational  vehicle,  without a stamp or title, (but can be if you want)

I I am building on skids and keeping home height to 138 inches, so it can be tailored to new location., if needed, I also am going wider than 8 feet, so permit will be needed for moving but is not difficult to do.

I know so many things to consider

This may or may not help, get a sewing machine motor,  bolt to crib, plug in.

Vibration sooths, you may need to glue a small washer  or nut to motor shaft  for more vibration.
