Molasses acts as an anti-fungal agent in the root layers which is good for marijuana since most growers over feed and over water their marijuana plants in order to over produce the smokeable buds.

Actually molasses feeds the beneficial biologicals which than can process nutrients directly for plant uptake.

As for the statement "most growers over feed and over water their marijuana plants in order to over produce the smokeable buds"

Thats a pretty broad statement, alluding to the fact that you know the personal grow habits of "most" growers. Considering there are tens of thousands of legal growers in the state of california, i find this statement inaccurate.  Overfeeding and overwatering does not overproduce buds. It only makes for a waterlogged, nutrient burned plant.

There is quite a bit of valuable information that can be obtained from these medical growers, especially for those wishing to maximize yeild in smaller spaces.

They cost a lot in electricity.
If you notice they need a special plug with double the normal voltage (USA).

The plug being a 220 plug does not affect the amount of electricity used.
1000 watts at 220 is the same as 1000 watts at 110, its still 1000 watts..they would use the same amount of power just a different voltage. Many countries use 220 for all residential wiring, and they are not using twice as much electricity just because they have a funny looking plug.

This is something that could easily be built. Egg timer style switches are available. Just make a junction box with an outlet and the switch that could then be plugged into any outlet in your home. Probably cost less than 10 dollars to make.
