Hello! We are seeking partners for a land share/intentional community in the Arlington/Granite Falls/Snohomish/Monroe area. We are a  multi-generational family that own a small contracting business, and seek freedom, a self-sustaining life style, community, shared land management, etc... We are people of faith (God), and would like to share life with people of similar faith. We are currently looking for 10-20 acres on the east side of the I-5 freeway. Thank you.

This topic is dear to my heart. We are taking intentional steps towards building a multi-generational intentional community. We (Wayne & Heidi) are in our early 50's, and still have a lot of life left in us, and would love build a community where the old teach the young... the young take care of the old...etc. We live in western WA, and would love to hear from like -minded humans that would be interested in this concept. We are seeking land & good humans!

We have been in discussion and have started gathering resources to build a multi-generational community. We believe this is a great solution to this very discussion. Go back to the way our ancestors lived... the young take care of the old, the old teach the young, etc.... We are Wayne & Heidi Sandall.  We have been in search of a new way of living for a couple years now, exploring different models for intentional communities, networking with people doing this very thing, figuring out what works and what doesn't, and praying for direction. We are Christians, and believe that the Lord has a plan for our lives, as well as, our world. We don't have all the answers... we don't have land yet.... But we want to put this out there and see if there are any other humans that are like-minded who want to share in our dream!
So here we go... Some of the basics that we are looking for in a community: Our Vision.
30-50 acres of land in Snohomish/Skagit County. Permaculture farm homestead.  Multi-generational community. Each family would purchase a share that would be a minimum of 2 acres. You would own your own piece of the pie. Forests. Shared Management. Water rights to our own land. A stream or a river that runs through property. Gardens & Greenhouses. Organic practices only. No GMO. Passive solar homes or Off Grid. Open to partial electrical services. Build barns/shops w/ living above to start out with. Outdoor kitchen. Shared space. Possibly have a shared building of some sorts, but not a deal breaker. Share land with like-minded people. Good humans.
