I live closer to Oklahoma than you do but i grew up in nixa. We have the best luck with contender bush beans. Just dont plant them in the exact same spot every year.

I talked to a local vet. Good news ultrabac 8 is safe to use for all sheep at any time including pregnancy.  We have 4 ewes that are going to lamb in the next couple weeks. My vet said that the lambs will not benefit from the vaccine through the milk as it takes 6 weeks minimum for it to be in their system.  He recommends ultrabac 8 for here in the midwest and no need to give a tetanus shot unless they get injured.

We are new to sheep and have been buying 4 ewes from each farm as we can afford them. We were instructed to vaccinate all the sheep with Ultrabac 8 as we got them to the farm. We just purchased 4 ewes that are getting ready to lamb in the next week.  
Question.1... can you give a ewe that getting ready to lamb next week Ultrabac 8
Question 2.... do we need to give all our sheep a tetanus shot also?
