I lived next to the US Rabit Experment Station in Fontana, CA. As 7 year old in 1960, I was fascinated with the bunnies. I had my first Hutch at 8 years old and thriving business by 9. As I am planning to try again. I had New Zealand White Rabbits. In open hutch in the shade of a wood roof. Hot days I would turn on a sprinkler on top of the hutch.
