I am new to this fabulous educational and oh, so informative site and applaud you all for the wonderful job you are doing. I have indeed been reading many of the postings and am sill getting a feel for how it all works. So far I do not have any specific questions for the group however should one arise I will definitely express myself! I look forward each day to see what else may  be useful to me. I have received a few direct inquires for my help wanted posting.  My situation is unique in that our ranch is very rural and remote with very few people in our area.  An example is that we are 50 miles to the nearest shopping; hence why we are self reliant and intentional in our way of life. This lifestyle is not for the "average" person. I feel confident that we will find a like minded individual who would appreciate living such a purposeful life in one of the most beautifully well kept secrets in the US.

We are seeking a responsibly mature, independent, creative person with a passion for organic gardening, permaculture savvy and enthusiasm for sustainable living. We are offering a very unique opportunity to live on our beautiful rural southwest New Mexico ranch rent free in exchange for mentoring and educating a retired professional couple in the nuances of sustainable living. We are hoping to find a mentor and educator who is willing to share their knowledge while living their own dream of having a beautiful piece of land to use as their own. Such person would be required to provide their own independent housing as in RV, Yert, etc. We would provide all necessary amenities including internet. Basically this means you come and educate us while "doing your own thing" and we will provide you with infrastructure and agreed upon project materials. We have several outbuildings, barns, garden and greenhouse in place. We are seeking a long term to indefinite opportunity for that special person who wants to live their dream without financial obligation while being of service.

Our rural area is spectacular in scenery, dark night skies, clean air and water as well as abundant wildlife. The possibilities for peace, purpose and contentment are limitless.
