I’m confused as to why this was an edge case. The judging in this thread didn’t seem consistent so I’m not sure what rules to follow as I look at prior posts to judge what I should submit.

In the first pic is shown the sides that have dried mineral from hard water. The last picture shows the sides are wet. To me it’s clear the last pic shows a fully clean sink.

I can’t imagine the logic behind cleaning only the bottom of the sink and not the sides…

I didn’t see a requirement on this BB that required an action side picture.

I’d appreciate some clarification.

It's just my husband and I so not many dishes for dinner. We already wash our dishes by hand so we don't accumulate dishes throughout the day. We also dry our dishes right after washing rather than air drying them due to hard water spots.

I'd previously had rags in the bedroom in a drawer. I've moved them to a kitchen drawer which is much more convenient. The dirty rag and napkin laundry bag is attached to the washer.

I picked up these napkins from the thrift store and cut them to size. They're stored on my kitchen countertop next to the table. They're washed in hot water with vinegar.

We had fatty ribeyes tonight so the chickens got our leftovers.

My submission. I use water and elbow grease until areas around water. Then I use vinegar due to very hard water.

Not too bad to start with, but I wiped down all the gunk first with water and a rag. Then left baking soda on for about 30 minutes and then scrubbed with the BS. Then I rinsed the sink and sprayed some white vinegar because we have really hard water.

Apologies if this is a dumb question or answered already in the forum. I have searched it for an answer.

I posted recently about how to temporarily block wind & snow and enclose a 3 sided loafing shed for livestock in a Wyoming winter. https://permies.com/t/222961/insulate-greenhouse-sided-loafing-shed Straw bales are a great idea!

We're trying out different ways of stacking the bales, but I was curious if anyone has done this before and has a suggestion on the best way to stack them. We've done 2 bales wide criss crossing, one bale wide and overlapping each other, but none are great to also allow a temporary bale door to be removed and put back. Basically in the loafing shed we have metal pens and different animals will go in each. We'd like to be able to move bales during good weather so animals can move about and close it up with a winter storm.

From what I'm seeing in my search of the forum, I probably need to have some sort of framing to support the straw bales but somehow make that temporary and easily moved.

Thoughts? Thanks!

I used this recipe from Farmhouse on Boone -https://www.farmhouseonboone.com/same-day-sourdough-bread-recipe. I used my own sourdough starter and dutch ovens to bake the bread.
Here's my charcoal storage setup. I don't have much charcoal left from winter so this smaller container was perfect.
