Regularly $10, free to watch till Sunday at 2 in the PIE forum.

In this in 1.5 hour webinar PLUS Q&A you will have the chance to learn with a professional rocket mass heater and cob building specialist - Chris "Uncle Mud" McClellan who will walk you through step by step what you'll need to know in order to build an efficient greenhouse powered by a rocket mass heater.

Find out the best materials and methods to build something that will stand the test of time!

With insights from Paul Wheaton!

Uncle Mud (aka Chris McClellan) raises free-range, organic children in suburban Ohio. He has been using natural building as his soapbox to preach self-reliance and community empowerment, since 2004. Building houses, pizza ovens, and woodstoves with mud and junk is his way of sharing the Can-Do spirit. He writes, teaches workshops and hosts a mud pit and DIY building demonstrations at Fairs across the US.  You can find him at unclemud.com

Yes, indeed we need pie to be able to access that forum.

I think the message also described what PIE is.

I will definitely support this. Permies is such a good place to be, as "old fashioned" as it seems.

Other places on the internet one can post questions and get all sort of answers from folks that don't know anything about the subject. And not just that, but when I try to find something, including my own posts, it's impossible. All they really want is to sell me stuff!

Here on these forums things are perennial. I can find the information I am looking for that was maybe written years ago. Learning from other people's experiences and successes and failures is a great way to go. All the while I am learning, and maybe sharing, from my own successes and failures. And if I share all those failures here, I know I won't be bullied or looked down at.

And I can always ask questions here, no matter how much of a newbie I am , or how silly the question.

Long live permies!

This is pretty amazing!

I am looking forward to the bees movie myself. I tried to keep bees a few years ago, and wasn't very successful. But I wan to try again.

I am looking forward to this Magazine, as well. Woodworking with hand tools sounds right up my husbands’ alley!

So, the first step would be for me to buy the movie, right?

And then share it on these platforms?

Apologies for the question, sometimes I need things to be spelled out for me…

Thank you!

So, do we have a favorite quotes thread, or should it be, Favorite sign-off quotes?

We do now:

I got this idea from another thread:

And here are the two quotes that were offered there:
