Chinking the logs inside Cooper Cabin during SKIP.  My work area was (5) 22” sections along the right side of the pictured doorway and the (2) 6’ sections directly above. Total was 21’ 2”.

I alsoI put some cob on the wall at Cooper Cabin, but did a much better job than Matt did.  My spot was one section that was almost 8ft and two sections over 8 ft, definitely more than 20ft.

I installed cob on a 3ft wide section for 7 rows AND I also put cob next to the column for a cumulative total of ~25 linear feet. After the photos were taken I used the leftover cob in my bucket and two other peoples' buckets so as not to waste it. I enjoyed this process of grouting very large grout lines!

To get certified for this BB you must:

  - use a low grade cob as filler between logs in a wofati
  - Must be a minimum of 20 linear feet of filler

and post the following pics:

attachment 1   - the before pic
attachment 2   - the cob being prepped for use
attachment 3   - the cob being put into place
attachment 4   - the final result

At Wheaton Labs' Cooper Cabin, I filled in a section of 20 linear feet of the inside of wofati wall with low-grade cob that I mixed. I filled seven 3-foot sections (marked in red on photos) to account for the linear footage. Working alongside other participants, but I completed my own section of wall.
