This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Animal Care.

In this Badge Bit you will capture a honey bee swarm.

Here is my entry for swarm catching. One of probably 100 I’ve done over the years. A little unusual circumstances, because they had been out in a storm. But they recovered within - few hours once they warmed up, the queen survived, and they went on to be a great colony.

Filmed this a few years ago.

Lot of natural fireworks this 4th of July. Not only were the Fireflies and Lightening Bugs amazing, A swarm of bees moved in, in the early afternoon. I'd like to add one of my most favorite experience in life is standing inside of a bee swarm, the feeling in the air, the sound the site is sensory overload. Thousand of tiny creature flying around in controlled chaos. Lovely

I was lucky, my partner, little sis and brother were all here to also witness it. :)
