This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the
PEP curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in
Animal Care.
In this Badge Bit you will remove algae from a trout pond in an appropriate manner.
I had some trouble finding articles I felt were acceptable for appropriate methods of removing algae from trout ponds.
So, in brief, what I think is a nice way to remove algae from a trout pond is to remove it manually with either a rake or scoop net.

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must:
- post a picture of the algae filled trout pond
- post a progress picture halfway through with you using a tool to remove algae
- post a finished picture showing the clean pond and the pile of algae removed
