This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Homesteading.

Note that this BB is a compound BB.  To complete this BB, you must complete four of the BBs on this list and then submit links to those four completed BBs.

For this badge bit, you must :
  - complete four badge bits from this list:
           - check the septic tank status
           - fill a sand barrel in the summer
           - sand an icy drive and all paths
           - repair a window screen
           - properly attach/lash something ten feet long or longer to a vehicle
           - create or restock a first aid kit (that needs stocking)
           - install, replace, or recharge a fire extinguisher
           - install a carbon monoxide detector
           - install a smoke detector
           - supply a work site with ample safety glasses, hearing protection, first aid kits, gloves, etc.
  - post the links to your four BBs showing they are completed
