I broke into my basement a couple summers ago because I was locked out and ripped apart a screen to do so. This is me repairing the screen. I didn't have a spline tool so I ended up using a metal bracket roughly the width of the spline. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but took a few different tries with various things before figuring out the bracket was the best tool. Saved the rest of the materials for future screen repairs.

Would a simple repair such as this one count to the BB? With time and constan heat cycles the screen has wiggled its way out but is in otherwise good condition!

This tiny window screen for my she shed is broken. I think a bird has been breaking in and pooping on the floor at nights! So here I go, replacing the screen. I pulled out the rubber, cut a new screen, pushed the rubber back in with this tiny crowbar, and trimmed it to size. It fits wonderfully! Now I can leave the window open with no noisy burglers

When i bought the patio door, the deliver it on the grass. Bad luck that day, the cow of the neighbor get ou and walked on it! They didn't break the glass but did tear the screen. Never repaired it in 5 years. BB is a good motivation for that this summer!

It isn't quite time to put in the window screens, but not too long. I figured I should patch up the holes before the bugs got in. I used my newly acquired darning skills (Thank you textile badge) to fix the spot I found. I think it work pretty well!

This screen was in much need of repair. Bent up with a good-sized hole. I used a razor blade to cut off the excess, but it didn't end up in a pic. My bad.

Disaster has struck. And Gnomes. Well, just one.

Thankfully the screen wasn't torn when it fell, so I re-installed the existing screen and gasket rubber with the blunt part of an olfa.
