This is  a Badge Bit (BB) that is part of the PEP Curiculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Natural Medicine.

For this BB you will create elderberry infused vinegar.

- Make a journal page about the uses and attributes and a recipe for elderberry infused vinegar.
- Make the infused vinegar, and take a picture of it being made, and of it being finished.

- Make a journal page about the uses and attributes of elderberry and how to ID and harvest it. Add it to the herb section.

Web pages on how to make elderberry infused vinegar:

To show you've completed this BB you must post pictures of the following:

- the journal page showing the recipe and attributes of the elderberry infused vinegar
- picture of the elderberries, freshly harvested
- picture of the infused vinegar being made
- picture of the finished vinegar in its labelled jar.

- the journal page showing the attributes of elderberries and how to harvest and prepare them
- a journal page outlining how to harvest and use elderberries safely (note, these berries can be toxic when incorrectly prepared)
Did you just should on me? You should read this tiny ad:
