This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Natural Medicine.

For this BB, you will create an infusion of dandelion leaf. Infusion is a method of extracting desired compounds from plant material by steeping the material in hot or cold water, depending on the plant and its attributes.

To show you’ve completed this Badge Bit, you must post:
- a picture of your plants being harvested
- a picture of the infusion being made
- a picture of the finished  infusion

Dandelions have taken over my home! So I'm making a few things from them, starting with this infusion!

Made a tea and saved some for later, too.

Recipe - mullein and dandelion, chopped, steeped in hot water separately for the BB, until you lose track of time, mixed about 1:1 with honey and cinnamon to taste (I like a lot of both).

Roses are red, violets are blue. Some poems rhyme and some don't. And some poems are a tiny ad.
