For this BB, you will create an infusion of red clover blossom. Infusion is a method of extracting desired compounds from plant material by steeping the material in hot or cold water, depending on the plant and its attributes.

I was given a plant and told it was shamrocks but it's definitely not clover. It has a bell-shaped flower, comes in red or green leaves, and grows out of a rhizome. Is it not really shamrocks? Anyone know what it is?

What comes to mind is a houseplant (it's actually blooming right now in my house ). The leaves are green, purple or bronze like shade.
The leaves are edible raw or cooked (I never tried it) and flowers can be used in decorating cakes or other sweet like wild violets. I did both flowers with egg white and superfine sugar but not the leaves.
I infused red clover blossom both cold and hot. Neither turned that beautiful pink color of the flower. The cold infusion was.left in the fridge for 2 days and tasted like the sweet bits of the end of the clover, I preferred that to the hot version.
