This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEP curriculum.  Completing this BB is part of getting the straw badge in Nest.

In this Badge Bit, you will pressure wash a deck or hard surface to remove moss and gunk.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - pressure washing a deck or hard surface to remove moss and gunk
      - at least 40 square feet

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide proof of the following with pictures (or a video < 2 mins long):

Borrowed my neighbours pressure washer - ok, it was fun!

I cleaned the concrete at the front of the garage. It was pretty yucky. I moved the basketball hoop (which i use for one of my clothes line) and the last of the potatoes that I’m growing in containers.

The space is 1.2m x 4m = 51.6 sq ft.

Here are my pictures

Note: Yup, it's fun and much easier than a brush

A friend asked me if I could help clean up her backyard today, which included breaking out the pressure washer. It was both satisfying and tiring work renewing concrete, coolers, eaves, house siding, and some other gunky things not pictured such as gas cans, propane tanks, etc.

Unboxed my new pressure washer -- well, it was supposed to be new, but someone had obviously used it and returned it to the store.  Worked, and too much trouble to take it back.

Here is my porch and walkway, before and after.  Plus an "oops, missed a spot" picture.  The round attachment works great for surface dirt, but a lot of the moss and grime was embedded and needed the power nozzle.

Well my back porch needed pressure washing and this turned out to be a great time of year to do it as the hot weather has passed.

It's a tiny ad. At least, that's what she said.
