Find a Wall Stud and Hang a Picture - PEP BB nest.straw.hangpic

I had to mount the TV on the wall. The bracket needed to be attached to a stud to support it.

To complete this BB, the minimum requirements are:
  - must get the nail in the wall stud on the first try

To show you've completed this Badge Bit, you must provide proof of the following with pictures (or a video < 2 mins long):
  - before, during, and after of finding a wall stud and hanging a picture (the nail must hit the stud on the first try)
  - demonstrate it meets the above stated requirements


I didn't have any smooth sided nails, so I hope a threaded "nail" is acceptable?

I don't own a stud finder and I grew up knocking on the wall and using the sound to locate studs. It hasn't failed me yet, so I hope it counts!

My mom got me this cute picture a few years ago and it has traveled everywhere with me, It was far past time to get it hung up in the office.

I'm not great at the tapping test, so a stud finder is my go-to.

Greetings permies!  I decided an uncut video was the best way to show I hit stud in one try.  I used the impact driver so you can really hear when it gets into the stud.  This was kind of a two-fer badge because I decided to use a stud to hang my two coat hooks from the round wood woodworking badge!

Edit:  I am afraid I do not understand why this was denied the badge bit since previous posts have used screws and been approved.  One is a picture hung by a screw.  The very first reply, in fact was screws in a stud to hang TV mounting hardware and not a picture, which gave the impression that hanging "things" by screws in a stud hit on the first try is in fact an acceptable way to achieve this BB.  If my post is indeed unacceptable would the approving/rejecting party be willing to amend the original requirements to explicitly state that screws are no longer accepted as they once were?  Thank you.

I found a wall stud and hung a picture (first try with the nail hitting the stud). Then I did it 3 more times. These are my kids' self-portraits for the past two years <3.
